George is a PRINCE2® certified Project Management professional with 21 years combined experience in Planning, Design, Procurement, Contract/ Project Management, Construction Supervision, Operation and Maintenance, Monitoring and Evaluation of road works, bridge construction works, Water and Sanitation Infrastructure, Rehabilitation works, Toll Roads, Weighbridges, PPPs, Outputbased Performance Road Contracts (OPRC), Climate Resilient Roads, Acrow Modular Bridges, Highway design and Contract Administration in general. George is currently a private/ freelance consultant. He is a hands-on Engineer whose work was recognised at all levels climbing the ladder to the level of Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Road Authority in Zambia presiding over the National Road Network extending over 67, 000km and overseeing a workforce of 420 + employees and supervising 10-line Directors. In this role, he led the Management team in accountability to the Board of directors in realising set targets towards implementation of agreed targets.

He was elected by fellow CEOs of Southern Africa Road Agencies as President of the Association of Southern Africa National Road Agencies (ASANRA) where he pursued an Agenda to bring on board member Associations that had slipped in their participation and made good the arrears owed by Zambia over the years.

As CEO of RDA, he presided over the Commissioning of the 923m long, $260 Million Kazungula bridge witnessed by 5 heads of state and Government.
George is a team leader and negotiator who has led teams in negotiations with other countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, Botswana, and Angola at a bilateral level vis-a-vis International/ Regional connectivity. At the local front, he has negotiated dozens of Contracts with contractors/ consultants in various aspects of project management including discounts for the employer as the case may be.
George is an aggressive initiator of Projects/ programmes having initiated and successfully developed a strategic plan and roll-out plan for one of the flagship projects in the history of the RDA that was dubbed the Pave Zambia 2000 project.
He led a team of Engineers in executing a flagship project dubbed the Link Zambia 8000 programme. He has represented his organisation at various public fora to disseminate information to portray the organization’s good image and to get stakeholder buy-in at the community level.
He championed signing Memoranda of Understanding with key Institutions during his tenure.
